On February 7, 2021, the Board of Directors’ Office of China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd. announced and commended suppliers that made outstanding contributions to the Kunliu‑Long DC Transmission Project, the Yunnan–Guizhou Interconnection Project, and their associated AC transmission projects. Pingxiang High Class Insulator Electrical Porcelain Co., Ltd. was honored with the title of “Supplier for Outstanding Contributions in the Critical Battle,” demonstrating its commitment to its original aspirations and mission through concrete actions, bolstering confidence and strength. On February 1, 2021, the Ultra-High Voltage Transmission Company of China Southern Power Grid Co., Ltd. issued a letter of gratitude to Pingxiang High Class Insulator Electrical Porcelain Co., Ltd., expressing its sincere appreciation for the company’s high level of attention and strong support in advancing the Wudongde–Guangdong–Guangxi Ultra-High Voltage Multi-Terminal DC Demonstration Project (hereinafter referred to as the “Kunliu‑Long DC Project”). During the project’s construction—particularly amid COVID‑19 prevention and control measures—the company demonstrated a strong sense of political awareness, responsibility, overall situation, and teamwork, rigorously implementing the client’s requirements, meticulously planning, carefully organizing, and steadily advancing the work. As a result, it successfully fulfilled all production and supply tasks for the Kunliu‑Long DC Project—the nation’s first ultra-high voltage multi-terminal DC demonstration project during the 13th Five-Year Plan period—thereby providing solid material support for the project’s smooth commissioning. The letter conveyed heartfelt thanks for these contributions.

On December 26, 2020, State Grid Corporation of China published the公示 (public notice) of recommended winning bidders for the second 35–330 kV material framework agreement tender of 2020. Pingxiang High Class Insulator Electrical Porcelain Co., Ltd. was recommended as a candidate for award in sub‑tender numbers SG2016‑1405‑21003, Package 18, and Package 26, with a total contract value of RMB 28.5816 million.

On April 13, 2020, Pingxiang High Class Insulator Electrical Porcelain Co., Ltd. won the bid for the porcelain suspension insulator project in the public competitive negotiation for the Wudongde Hydropower Station–Guangdong–Guangxi Ultra-High-Voltage Multi-Terminal DC Demonstration Project. All participating bidders were leading companies in the industry; leveraging its strong corporate credentials, solid market reputation, and broad brand influence, High Class Insulator stood out among the competing insulator manufacturers, securing the contract and demonstrating its robust overall strength and advanced technical expertise.
